Okay so I'm trying to be a manager for the wrestling team. Everyone wants to be the manager even people from other schools. But I have too take a test %26amp; it'd about wrestling. He should teach you just enough to get your position that you want. then you can learn more throughout your term. I also liked the six sided ring because they were the only wrestling company in the U.S. to have a six sided ring, but Hogan and Bischoff had to ruin it. After a while they just didn't put any effort to what they're doing, or they suddenly turned to bad actors. I didn't really like wrestling from the start though, I mean like..i wonder who would win..Street fighting, or wrestlers. Since they're won't be any ropes around.|||In terms of entertainment, WWE is the best. In wrestling terms, maybe ROH. But overrall wrestling today sucks. TNA was capable of being better than WWE but Hogan ruined it|||wwe is getter better than it was over the summer they did bad, tna is *** and Always be ***, roh is better than tna but not wwe|||WWE, good but could be better.

A question on wresting with guys?
I've never done wrestling before, but wondering is it common to have physical contact with another guy's package during the fight? Will one get aroused easily? Do we need to wear jockstrap?|||If you aren't making contact with a guys package during a match then you aren't wrestling. I am not saying you deliberately grab their package but you are grabbing and rolling around with a guy trying to force him into submission and that requires a lot of different moves that will most likely cause some sort of limb-to-package contact. Some guys do get physically aroused during a match but not necessarily because they are sexually turned on by his opponent. Because singlets are so form fitting, it would be wise to wear some sort of supportive undergarment like a jockstrap or a pair of briefs. That way if you happen to get aroused, the jock or underwear can help keep your erection from becoming obvious to everyone observing the match.|||this is disturbing|||if your gay then it will be your fantasy|||If you find the other guy hot, then yes you will get an erection|||Try your best to hide your erection.|||Um, if you're aroused by wrestling then you need help xD|||It's kinda unavoidable, ain't it? It's not unheard of to catch a ***** cuz it is some physical stuff. I dunno if they have something to kinda mask it though. Not too many "John cena sucks" rants, OK?|||Stephanie McMahon as RAW head writer.|||The fake death of Mr. Mcmahon and then of course a week later the appreciation night for Mr. Mcmahon, but instead we hear CHRIS BENOIT IS DEAD come on with fake deaths it's not funny neither is a steroid using, double suicidal man sometimes WWE irritates me.|||These days I can't stand the fact that they are sooo predictable. And putting The Great Khalil up against a cruiserweight. lets be real. That's ridiculous. I would also like to see some better storylines. I admit, the Kane and Lita thing amused the hell out of me.|||How marks form unions and basically decide what fans want to see via ratings. -.-|||The lack of direction that WWE takes when a major superstar leaves for oh lets say TNA|||Its Fakeness !!!
I want to see real matches in WWE.|||when they wrestlers cheat and beat up the referee|||When they put the Great Khali vs. Eugene. I mean are they really gonna give Eugene a chance. Thats just a diaster. All the Great Khali has to do is slam him down and Eugene is gone. Talk about boring. cuz everyone knows whose gonna win!|||In WWE, a lack of talented guys in the mainevent and the fact that WWE has recently put wrestling back twenty years with its dumbing down of the product and pushing big guys. A large percentage of fellow wrestling fans have the ability to get on my nerves, but I'm just a bit misanthropic.|||When Jim Ross rants "RUNNING LIKE A SCALDED DOG" on scurrying wrestlers, if there's a wrestler the size of Kahli or Mark Henry come walking out to the ring with a lead pipe.
When Jim Ross or Micheal Cole holler " CHEAP SHOT" ,then three seconds later, the one that got the cheap shot, counters a move.
Wrestlers like RVD or Cena kicked the crap out of them for thirty minutes in the ring,bounces back, wins the match with four or fewer moves.. Then after the match , it seems that they were never in a match .. Show boating and doing back flips, never act like they are tired or beat up .|||Lack of creativity, The storylines absolutely blow lack of real wrestling talent guys getting pushes that are too green|||That they push this whole WWE Diva thing as though the girls can wrestle when 90% cant (you know how many wwe has so you can do the math lol) Let be honest the Diva's weren't hired to wrestle they were hired to creatively get naked. This is wrestling not a t*tty bar.. I think that has begun to annoy me they most (i mean kids are watching).
Besides that the promos suck nowadays, and everyone want to be a tough guy..I would just love to tell them "you all can't be Stone Cold.. get over it"
and the more interesting of matches has always been the high flyers... cruiser weight division is hurting in the wwe
one of my biggest pet peeves last year..year before was the tag division where they would just stick people together and bam instant tag team.. I hated that so much. I'm sick of them doing it for main events but atleast now the tag team division is made up of actual tag teams.|||Actually, I like wresting. It refreshes me.|||ok example....

They deserve to be in the match before the main event.|||The amount of time spent on outside the ring plot development. I liked the good old days, when the plot line began with actions in the ring during actual matches with short interviews being used merely to explain what had taken place. Now instead of seven or eight matches in a two hour show, you are lucky to get four. All the rest of the time is spent on showing "behind the scenes manipulation" and long interviews.|||when there is a tag team match btween good and bad guys...there are 2 bad guys in the ring then the other good guy comes and the ref trys to get him out and then the 2 bad guys beat the other good guy.|||that there are people who think that the heels are the good guys and some people that like the faces and hate the heels it really makes me angry,mad,and confused at the same time.|||The simple fact that there's too much jibber jabber, and NOT ENOUGH WRESTLING!

10:00-10:15 - More in-ring promos, may or may not lead to a physical confrontation.
10:15-10:20 - Commercial
10:20-10:25 - Another backstage promo
10:25-10:30 - A very short match, something like Umaga vs, say ... Jeff Hardy, or a jobber.
10:30-10:35 - You see the main eventers getting ready for matches.
10:35-10:40 - Commercial
10:40-10:50 - Main Event starts, about half the match is wrestled and leads to...
10:50-10:55 - Commercial (the 6th one of the night! Ridiculous).
10:55-11:03 - Match finishes up. In most Main Events, there's usually outside interference to show up after the match. People gain up and somebody and double team 'em, and...
11:03-11:05 - People who gained up on somebody are smiling as RAW goes off the air.

A large percentage of fellow wrestling fans have the ability to get on my nerves, but I'm just a bit misanthropic.|||When Jim Ross rants "RUNNING LIKE A SCALDED DOG" on scurrying wrestlers, if there's a wrestler the size of Kahli or Mark Henry come walking out to the ring with a lead pipe.
When Jim Ross or Micheal Cole holler " CHEAP SHOT" ,then three seconds later, the one that got the cheap shot, counters a move.
Wrestlers like RVD or Cena kicked the crap out of them for thirty minutes in the ring,bounces back, wins the match with four or fewer moves.. Then after the match , it seems that they were never in a match .. Show boating and doing back flips, never act like they are tired or beat up .|||Lack of creativity, The storylines absolutely blow lack of real wrestling talent guys getting pushes that are too green|||That they push this whole WWE Diva thing as though the girls can wrestle when 90% cant (you know how many wwe has so you can do the math lol) Let be honest the Diva's weren't hired to wrestle they were hired to creatively get naked. This is wrestling not a t*tty bar.. I think that has begun to annoy me they most (i mean kids are watching).
Besides that the promos suck nowadays, and everyone want to be a tough guy..I would just love to tell them "you all can't be Stone Cold.. get over it"
and the more interesting of matches has always been the high flyers... cruiser weight division is hurting in the wwe
one of my biggest pet peeves last year..year before was the tag division where they would just stick people together and bam instant tag team.. I hated that so much. I'm sick of them doing it for main events but atleast now the tag team division is made up of actual tag teams.|||Actually, I like wresting. It refreshes me.|||ok example....

Now instead of seven or eight matches in a two hour show, you are lucky to get four. All the rest of the time is spent on showing "behind the scenes manipulation" and long interviews.|||when there is a tag team match btween good and bad guys...there are 2 bad guys in the ring then the other good guy comes and the ref trys to get him out and then the 2 bad guys beat the other good guy.|||that there are people who think that the heels are the good guys and some people that like the faces and hate the heels it really makes me angry,mad,and confused at the same time.|||The simple fact that there's too much jibber jabber, and NOT ENOUGH WRESTLING!

Do adults really believe that "Professional Wresting" like the WWE is real?
I've known since I was in grade school that the WWF (or now the WWE) is fake. How come some adults don't know this or at least act like they don't. I've heard people talk about how so-and-so wrestler went to Wrestlemania and did this and that. One guy said somethiong to me like one wrestler "got technical" on another and that's how he beat him. Can someone help me on this one?|||The bumps, chair shots and falls in the ring is what is real about "professional wrestling". The rest (storyline, certain spots and outcome) is scripted days, sometimes hours before the show. Everyone knows this. However, it still takes skills and training to be able to do what they do in the ring. Contrary to popular belief, that ring isn't some trampoline.|||When watching Rocky do you say the boxing is fake?

Why do wresting fans think wwe is harder and better than MMA?
they constantly brag about it being better..wwe is fake.mma is real..ufc is real..it is really anooying to hear them say this..do you agree??especially in wrestling section they say this|||well i dont know. but the wwe was the first to use the idea of striking and takedowns as well as ground work. pro wrestling started in the 50s. long before the ufc or mma.|||I guess it's because of all the visual works WWE does; various stage types (hell in a cell, royal rumble, etc), weapons (chair, table, ladder, etc), and there is a story line; like feuds over championships and other things(which I think it's very bad, but some people find it entertaining to follow the story line.) UFC and MMA is purely fighting; no talking, no quarrels, whatsoever. Some people may find this boring, but wrestling fans like you would obviously enjoy this.
I personally think WWE isn't too bad; some stunts they do are pretty well choreographed. But of course, it gets repetitive and boring, because that's all they do; pretend to punch, pretend to be hurt (although they can be hurt for real too), pretend to hate each other(story comes in play), and etc.
So I'd vote for MMA and UFC; it's real man's sport. But sometimes, for a little bit, it's just fun to watch people pretending to fight in WWE.
and anyways, WWE is for entertainment, not for a real sport.|||Because it is. The WWE is more exciting and more people watch or attend its events than the UFC. The UFC nowadays just isn't good than when it first came on the map. Those competitors back then used their styles in their intended formats, and putting them to use, but rather not streetfight, like you see those competitors do in the UFC nowadays. To many competitors, despite different martial art style(s) amoungst them, do the same things: punching, kicking standing up, and punching and kicking on the ground.|||wwe athletes are tough the punches and other **** are fake but the slams are real it takes another type of toughness to do that and they do it about 4 times a week now i think wwe is really gay its to much acting now the best years where from 96-04 now it just sucks ***|||That's because wrestling fans are stupid hillbilly's from the south.

So all the storylines were real, the feuds were real, the matches were won with the wrestlers using their talents and not because they were scheduled to win e.t.c.|||Ya, it's called UFC|||What most people don't know is that only the outcome is scripted and most of the details of the match are done on the fly. They talk to each other during the match and say what the next few moves are going to be. I think it could be done, but it would change the dynamic of the business. As for someone saying people would get hurt, they still get hurt, even knowing the outcome, so that's irrelevant. People get hurt in UFC, but that's the risk you take participating in a violent sport. It could be done tho.|||storylines couldn't be real see the "story" in that, the reason why there's so much drama in a lot of realty TV is because they with each other all the time and reality Tv can have some added things to make it more interesting too, and feuds that could be possible, well matches would be very different if it wasn't scripted and if was scripted LOTS and LOTS of moves would be difficult to do so it would basically be MMA|||RPW (real pro wrestling) was like that but.... Is training Freestyle Wresting alongside Shotokan Karate good for takedown defence and getting off the ground?
Note: I know Shotokan is complete but I want to get good takedown defence and off the ground. So many BJJers today....|||Complete does not mean "perfect."
I'm glad you do not see Shotokan as a piece to a puzzle, but the time it would take you to learn the intricacies of the style you would not be able to apply them in a competitive sport setting.

Most Karate people, unfortunately, do not learn the "ground" component of Karate due to a focus on standup technique.
*Ground does not mean grappling, but rather putting your oponent on the ground, and leaving him there so you can handle another guy.|||Yes Freestyle and Folkstyle Wrestling are very good for learning takedown defence and getting off the ground because they focus entirely on takedowns and positional control. BJJ and Judo are also good but Wrestling is definitely the best for those two things. Shotokan Karate not so much.|||Freestyle is okay, probably more well rounded than GR wrestling, but you still have the problem that you will not be taught how to defend against subs, even as a Judoka, with my subs limited to armbars, armlocks, and chokes, and with plenty of Judo matches going by fall or pin, I still have good sub defence and know that some positions are vulnerable to subs off their back, for example, plus, unlike Judo, wrestling doesn't have sacrifice throws, so pulling guard will be foreign.

where do i go to school, to learn this trade?|||any indy wrestling school will train you to ref but you will have to learn basic wrestling as well. every ref you've seen on wwe and wcw\tna have been through it and in some cases they were very good wrestlers.|||Look around in your local area for an independent federation. Find out who runs the promotion and talk to them. They will more than likely train you to be a ref.|||you actually have to have a few wrestling skillls believe it or not

Wresting Seats at the Staples Center?
I am planning to go to WWE Summerslam at the Staples Center in August and was wondering how the seats in the 100's are numbered. Does the row # starts from floor to top of 100 level or top to floor? (I.E. Row 1 starts on floor level and goes up or Row 1 starts from top of 100's and goes down to floor level)
I want to get seats in section 101, row 7. Are these good seats?|||It's row seven starting in that section, I have had seats near that area and yes, those are xcellent seats, have fun.|||Yeah they go up from the floor is row 1 up to the top of the 100 level which is row 32. The Rows start back at Row 1 in the first row of the 200 level. It restarts agen in the 300 level.

Where to sell wresting memorbilia collection?
i have over 200 items of some autographed, some not, unopened, wretling memorbilia. i would prefer not to sell it on ebay and prefer to sell it all together to a collector, but i have no idea where to find one? can someone help me, who should i contact?|||With a large collection, any potential buyer would want to see it first hand before buying it. This would have to be someone in your general geographic area. As such, Craigslist would be your best bet. With the economy in the doldrums, it is a buyer's market in almost everything. What takes precedence?|||To truely figure out the wrestling fan, you must go deeper than just meer mullets and trailer parks... you have to look into their soul. First, either severely over or under wieght. Bathe only once a week, preferably on Sundays, that way theres not wrestling on and they will be nice and clean for the start of RAW. You have to wear a rock band shirt, in the color black- and not a cool rock shirt, but a completely white trash one like Slipknot, Mudvayne, Slayer, etc... or at least one that has a song played for a WWE pay-per-view. Shopping at Hot Topic is a must for all accessories. Its also nice to only drink soda, that way it speeds up the yellowing and rotting process for the teeth. This will also help with hallitosis, which goes hand in hand with the not bathing. This will be a great body scent which combined with the heavy smell of cigarettes will drive all the ladies at the local pool hall crazy! Once you can accomplish these social norms, then you can truely become a wrestling fan....|||Why are you under Football you are lost|||I'm not sure. It's kind of like the chicken or the egg question. How to deal with a son who has become increasing violent and words abusing after watching wresting?
I don't know how old your son is which is important, I am assuming he is still young and you can have some control over him... Give him a warning on first offense while he is watching TV and gets violent. Let him know he needs to calm himself or you will turn the TV off (warning is important because then they understand the consequence of their actions). Second offense turn it off and explain to him why the TV was turned off (because he didn't listen to you the first time). You will probably need to do this many times until he gets it. It takes patience and persistence.
ALSO, Why don't you get him into a karate class or sport where he has to practice discipline and focus. He obviously needs to burn some energy and if he watches too much TV that wont get accomplished. Good luck!|||ban him from watching it that's what my mum did when i was little and my obsessive compulsive love of wrestling got out of hand

i think ufc is shet.|||Because UFC/MMA is realistic, gritty, and unrelenting. It's not unlike real life were fights on last seconds, and you will usually go to the ground very quickly. I think people would still rather watch the Hollywood style of long, drawn out conflicts of wrestling: acting and bullshit theatrics, rather than more brutal realism.|||i watch wrestling even thogh its fake, and love it for the entertainment value. i watch a little ufc but am not convinced these are the best fighters in the world knowing how many differnt leagues and promotins and so called experts telling us that they have the best fighters in the world. i watch alot of mma fights in some brands and think they are rigged, somtimes you see i guy get knocked out by a brush swing, or a ref step in too early. i think they have taken alot of the dirty side of boxing and have developed a brand off of it, but even thogh boxing is so dirty, i love the sweet science with the good and the bad, and most of it is bad. i just see mma as making fighting more exiting the way wrestling did (wrestling used to be real, they did their matches at carnivals, but the matches could go on for hours, even a dozen hours, people got bored so they started acting them out to shorten them, and it was a huge succsess), shortning the bouts, fixing the important or the ones they want to at least. like they seem to be concerned more about reallity TV, ill probably get alot of thumbs down for this but, i never really care about that. ive seen guys knocked out in mma by the equivalent to the flick of my daughters finger. (that doesnt mean i dont think there havnt been some wicked sick devistating knnockout that got me to jump out my seat and say DAMN, you got knocked the ****** out man|||UFC is f-ing lame i dont want to watch people knock each other out thats like watching a school fight I didn't give a damn about those. People enjoy WWE because of the storylines. As for me i like watching the highflyers do stunts like Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio.|||Because you can't see hot guys in UFC. I can't even stand that ****.. lol|||i watch both. What you have to understand is wrestling is an art form that is a lot harder than mma. MMA ur supposed to hurt people, thats very easy. Wrestlers have to train to do there moves and execute them hopefully as carefully as possible.
I mean lets look at a pretty easy example which i love bringing up. Who is the UFC heavyweight champion, oh wait its former WWE champion Brock Lesnar.
i love watching GSP so im not wrestling bias but i prefer quality wrestling which admittedly u get little of from the mainstream pro wrestling promotions. Also whether its my bad luck or not but the last 4 ufc ppvs ive ordered, only one went the distance and the rest were done in the first round. I know unlucky but it is frustrating as atleast you know ur gonna get a even contest in a wrestling mainevent and not feel like uve wasted ur money afterwards.|||鈾?I watch UFC sometimes for GSP but I get more out of wrestling entertainment wise. The one time I got a UFC PPV it was over very fast. Everyone got knocked out or submitted very fast. I got a good show but it was too short. I like drama it reminds me of my life lol.|||You do realize all movies are fake too?|||because people find it entertaining and somtimes want to see the storylines|||UFC and pro wrestling are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. Wrestling is when two or more people perform and exhibit their strength, athleticism, and persona in and out of the ring. UFC is when two highly trained professional fighters duke it out in the octagon. Wrestling is not only the performance, but is also like a real show or movie. It's entertaining to wrestling fans. Usually, when there's a storyline going on, that will either fuel or not fuel a wrestler in the ring. Those storylines, if they are good, will usually hype the fans as well. Usually, performances in the wrestling ring are more exciting then UFC fights. UFC fights consist of short tidbit matches that are very bloody, sometimes gory, and can sometimes just get boring to some people. It should always be entertained, but not every week-ends, only 3rd week-end of the month (occasionally).|||We used to have plenty of wrestling bouts with females when I was practicing Judo and martial arts. I do not think there is anything wrong there unless the motives and intentions are wrong.. Make sure that the bouts are in public view.|||i would love to be able to wrestle female friends. not cuz i'm a perv or anything but the opposite. i hate that usually stuff like that isnt allowed because of that

What do the stars in a wresting match represent?
For example, what does five stars mean, 4, etc.|||Stars represent rating. 1 star is poor, and it progressivley gets better where 5 stars is something great. Matches are rated in stars, 5 stars being an epic match. 1 star being a poor match. Superstars are sometimes also rated with stars for their wrestling ability.|||Like when they say "Rob Van Dam's" five star frog splash off the top
