I just decident to come to The UK Yahoo answers for a minute and it isnt popular|||One time British Wrestling was very interesting back in the day when we had the likes of Big Daddy, Fit Finlay and Rollerball Rocco slugging it out in the ring on ITV1's World of Sport. But those days have gone thanks to you Yanks with your type of wrestling i.e. WWE, TNA and UFC. Thank to you Yanks British Wrestling is not on TV anymore it got killed off at the end of 1988 as it could not compete with WWE.
One day UK Wrestling will come back with a bang but in the mean time we Brits have to go to see wrestling at our local town halls.|||like u|||IT IS BUT NOT THAT MUCH|||It got kind of popular in the 90's but it became too ridiculous for British tastes.|||Thats because in the UK we are intelligent enought to know its just a fake theatre act.|||It kinda is just not as much in north america|||america likes wrestling more|||not as popular as in the states no|||Nope it isn't|||No because its s***e|||Newsflash the matches are all faked not real so why watch it when it has been decided who wins this week|||idk, im not from the uk.|||No good British Wrestler is the main reason|||It`s just a pantomime, entertainment for boys under 12, that`s all.|||nooo i stay on this one even though im in the uk|||It can be, just need to have a look at the right time.|||The WWE %26amp; TNA shows have finished for this week.That's why this section is pretty quiet atm.It's as popular as it's ever been %26amp; the live events are guaranteed sell-outs.I read that after the football, it's one of the most popular sports on Sky.
